Surya Yalamanchili appeared on the 2007 reality TV show, The Apprentice. Surya quickly had his fill of reality TV, but being part of the skewed process that is reality TV, fully opened his eyes to the full power of what is possible through media manipulation.
And, yes, he does realize he’s writing about himself in the third person.
I’m captivated by politics, while at the same time horrified at the lengths candidates will to go to obtain, and preserve power. On second thought, that’s not different from the lengths people will go to in order to win some crappy reality TV show.
